What Are The Odds Of Fixing This? *pics*

I can't really sell it for what I want, and if there is a chance of fixing it I would like to at least entertain it. (not to re-sell, I would keep it).

I have had it at a collision shop for a couple of MONTHS now and they have been "looking into" fixing it for me, but they can't give me a straight answer as to how "fixable" it is. I've told them, either I want it fixed or tell me it's too hard and I'll take it somewhere else. No answer. I really want a straight answer, or some good advice from evo-m members.

I would rather have it fixed than sell it. Even a good collision shop (In the Toronto area) who knows what they are doing would be a good start!

The damage was from an impact square in the middle of the rear bumper (a strategically placed pole). If it's too hard to tell from the pics I am going to take it to another shop that can give me a conclusive answer. I think this place is just hoping I'll give it to them and they can sell it for parts or something. Just posted because it may be obvious to those who know collision a little better than I do, OR if there is a certain type of irreperable damage typically done during this type of impact that I am not aware of.

There was no quote, no insurance adjuster. I only had comprehensive coverage (THE STUPIDEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE). So the insurance company just told me to **** off! This shop wont quote me because I don't think they know how to fix it.. I mean it's been over 2 months and STILL no quote. Still waiting.
