2003 lancer es, wont start, sounds like it is not getting fuel. sprayed ether into the inatke, and it fired for 3 seconds. anyways, where is the fuel pump? andyone else have this problem? any suggestion or ideas?

 

fuel pump is under rear seat. havent had that problem though.

its an 03 lancer. I really doubt your fuel pump is bad. try checking the fuel pump fuse 1st, then the fuel pump relay.

 

checked the fuse first, that is cool. it has 25,000 miles, where is the relay?

 

if the relay id the clip that connects the wire to the actual pump, i hooked a volt meter to it, turned on the ignition, and it read .334 V

 

long shot, but maybe fuel filter clogged...
