Can anybody tell me what should be the required gap for the spark plug tip or should i directly replaced and install new spark plug?I'm using NGK p/n BKR6E-11 on my 2003 lancer GL ,1299cc. Also, can I re-used old spark plugs by just cleaning only?

It's such a small price to just buy new spark plugs once a year or so. I've never heard the reason why reusing is bad, but I believe the warnings over my own knowledge about a car's ignition.

I doubt anyone's really familiar with the 1.3l engine because it's not sold in the US/Canadian markets. Can you get your hands on a service manual?
