I think it's dead

GRRRRR!!! aight well while i was puttin inmy gauge something terribly bad happened and now for some reason the car will not turn over.. all my electronics work from the headlights to the radio however my aftermarket stuff such as my A/F gauge,Tach Gauge,And AFC will not turn on... I don't understand it's almost like it isn't getting any Fuel to turn over I don't think the ECU is shot... But I'm also fearing maybe I got KNOCK and that finally took over I'm not sure and now the car has to be towed to the dealer so they can figure out whatis wrong I've already tried re wiring everything and still no luck maybe the wire i cut into for the A/F Gauge isn't fully connected to the harness for the ECU but like I said before I have no clue what happened...

Theres Cranking just no full turn over... I wonder if the wire i spliced n reconnected isn't fully connected by all wires if it reads that sensitive that might be the cause but i dunno......

You check fuses and whatnot? Were you soldering with the battery connected?

EDIT: Moving to troubleshooting.

I checked some fuses not sure which ones it could be though.. I looked under the hood and kinda behind the tray on the dash...I wired with the battery connected this time telling myself thatshould of dissconected then I had to pull a plug out of the ecu to get to a wire n after i reconnected that plug this is when everything went wrong.. I'm thinking the timing reset in the ECU but couldn't really reset cause the battery was connected... grr I'm kicking myself now n feel sick... all i see is Dollar signs!

did you try to reset the ecu? all you have to do is disconnect the battery for 20 minutes and then plug it back in and then start it, if it will and let it idle for 5-10 minutes

are all your aftermarket stuff connected to the same power wire? are your rpm connections from the safc and the tach too close to each other? also check your fuel pump fuse. what wire were you messing with?

check all fuses...i kno someone that had the same problem and it was a fuse...he almost bought another ECU until i told him to check his fuses. don't go to the dealer..thats the like dumbest thing to do. they don't kno **** and will jus keep your car and make up problems and charge the **** out of you. if anything...jus disconnect the battery and put all the wiring back to normal. then see if it works again.

The fuses was my first idea but kinda dismissed it causei figured it couldn't be tht easy ya know. and ya the wires where very close together which is also bad now that i think about it i just payed it no mind at the time thinking i'd be ok.... the wire i was using for the air fuel gauge oxygen sensor was i believe red with yellow striping... these fuses are they actually the ones behind the coin try on the dash? thanxa lot guys...

Ok so it was that fuse that was blown thank god so i fixed that just need to buy another set of 20 v fuses tomorrow so my wipers will work again LOL also still need a good sorce of constant for the wire for the rpm tach along with still finding the proper wire for the A/F Gauge I'm thinking the Oxygen Sensor wire is actually 1 of the white wires i'm just to exhausted to attempt any more installations.. just happy the car is running again...

Thanx a lot guys you all responded so quick an really helped me out..... sorry theres no things for Leaves HAHAHAHA...

Ya like the simple fixes, right?

Learn the lesson Ben, Jeff, Justin and I learned the hard way. Always disco your battery before doing electrical work cuz you're libely to blow a fuse.

(yawn) hey guys well i went to pep boys lol forgot to get fuses was more concerned with trying to find stuff to fill in the gaps in the dash from the afc n A/F Gauge .... Stupid Roto Zip went nutso!! Roto Zip so I didn't really find much to help me though and now after working 8-5 today i'm rather tired n don't feel like working on the car at the moment even though the glove box is in the back seat LOL... I Still need to find a constant for my tach and the correct Oxygen sensor wire, but tonight I think it's a blase n laze type night ya know ... on a lighter note we got EVO'S today at 1 of dealerships I work for, a kid bought 1 for 38,000 (REDIC) But he said "I HAVE TO HAVE IT I CAN'T WAIT 2 WEEKS" I asked the guys there what kinda of deals employees are gettin an they said jack **** so Ooh well that Dealership.....
