Need help! Heater problem

This is a very odd problem, i have yet to find an answer for. I am having a problem with my heater. It blows hot air, levels are fine, fluids are fine, and it works (sometimes) it is not a loose wire thing, becuase it doesnt randomly work. After the engine is rested for usually 15-20 minute intervals. Ill turn the car on, and the heater will work fine for about 5 minutes. In the course of 5 minutes it will work perfectly fine for about 2 minutes, the between 3-4 minutes it will slowly die down, and the fifth minute the power will fluctuate and then give up. It does it everytime the car is turned on. Its almost like the fan will slowly die everytime the car is turned on. sometimes if the car has been on for a while, or bring driven, i will turn the heat back on after about 20 minutes and it will do the same thing. I have no idea what the deal is. If it is a fan problem, where is it located, how can i get to it? or wires, etc. Thanks for the help.

I contacted the nearest dealership, they said its definitly an electrical problem, but sounds very odd. Since it will start to work everytime and die down, usually they just crap out, or only work sometimes if its bad, or wires are loose. I wanted to try and check some things out myself before getting ripped off around here. Are there any posts or does anyone have ideas of what to look at and waht to take apart to get to that area. I looked and didnt see many options to go to behind the glovebox, so any suggestions would be great. Please help, NY is cold..
