Strange problem

OK i have a really odd problem and i am confused.the passenger said Brake light blows out after about 2 days and only the brake light all the others work fine checked the fuses and wires nothing any ideas thanks

bad ground...manufacturer defect inside the tail wiring...and don't send any surges through the car. that's all i can think of.

3 of the same have blown already my dad and i are gonna check the surge theory on saturday

are they still blowing out? make sure there is no moisture in there as well.

Exactly what I was thinking. If it's not electrical it's probably a small leak.

no leak or moisture replaced it with an oem bukb and np yet so that could be the problem

what kind of bulbs did you have that were blowing out? i never knew they made anything much better than an OEM bulb for a taillight...didn't think it was that much of a concern.

^ maybe try using the stock bulbs and see if they blow out. might just be some crappy bulbs...

Did you check the wattage when you bought them? It probably was the bulbs. Some aftermarkets have nototiously short lives...especially certain types of headlamps.

i actually did some wattage but i think they are just crappy bulbs put oem ones in on monday np yet

where did you get plasma glow tail light bulbs? were they supposed to be like a whiter Xenon/HID look for your blinkies? i was going to make all my markers white but im not so sure i want to be hassled by the PD
