brake lights problem, fuse or bulb?
Ok, Here's the deal. My passenger side tail light is acting strange. At night, it lights up like it normally would. But when I step on the brake, the light goes in the off position. Also, my right blinker indicator lights up in 50% intensity. In addition, when I step on the brake while making a right turn, my right blinkers blinks normally then after 5 seconds, it blinks really fast. I did check the fuses and nothing is blown. What's weird is if the light is blown, why does it still light up when I turn on my head lights?

sounds like wiring to me. when i blew my brake light fuse the brake lights didn't work at all. if a fuse is blown you'd get no response from the lights since the circuit is broken. you probably have a frayed wire or a loose connection somewhere.

Alright, I reseat the fuses under the hood and the cluster right turn signal is working normal now. However, I'm still not getting any lights on the back. I'll have to check the bulbs next...

It is the plug that goes to the taillight wires. I had the exact same problem. Take out your taillights and push and pull gently on the wires on the plug. If any are loose, push it in and using some hot glue, make a big blob to hold all the wires together to the plug. Yes, i said hot glue. This is how its done on most aftermarket taillights so dont dog it till you try it. Do the same to the side from the car and reconnect them. Let us know if this works for you too. Good luck!
