Ok to drive with tactrix cable when not datalogging?

Is it ok to drive with tactrix cable plugged in when not datalogging? The reason I ask is because my evo viii anti-lock brake light blinks at start up, like when I'm datalogging, and then it turns off then blinks randomly.

I'm new to the program and still haven't used it but i'm trying to get a good basic knowledge of it. Can you data log as you're driving? i heard you couldn't.

Just click "Start Datalogging" and then drive. It will save the entire datalog and will only stop logging once the connection to the ECU has timed out (igntion off or accessory off) or if you manually click "Stop Datalogging" or if you run out of Hard disk space. Try not running out of hard disk space, it's a silly thing, really.

I think he is talking about leaving it plugged in while not tuning.
