Ecu Recall *update 11/7/05*

Just got my PCM reflash done from the dealer and now i noticed that when i come to a stop my idle is between 600 to 1200 with the AC on/ off. Also sometimes it would jump to 1500 and just rev between 1300 to 1500. Whats wrong? Is it because of the new programming?

You could try unscrewing the negative battery cable for a couple of minutes and then putting it back on. Wouldn't that reset the ECU and allow for things like idle and spooling time to be adjusted based on how you drive?

not possible w/o gettin a new ecu that the flash wasnt done on.. what the dealer did for me is they cleaned the trottle body and adjusted my idle, which worked a little bit, but i guess over the last month or so i got used to it

Mine stays at about 2 when you first start it to warm up the cat, I figured it was pretty normal now since they set the idle higher and hotter so the cat can warm up. But I have the same problem when driving. It jumps around like crazy. Especially with A/C or defrost on.

Drive on it a few days. After I got mine done it just acted goofy and I knew that was what caused it and went home and unplugged it to just reset the air intake settings. Then just drove around on it kind of easy shifting at all the recommended shift points and what not. It's a lot more stable now but with the A/C or defrost on it gets a little crazy. Especially if I drive off before it settles down at 1000.
