Question trunk plugs

As I was looking in my trunk, I noticed that there are two plugs. Does anyone know where these plugs go into or what plugs into them? One is a male (white) plug, and the other is a female (black) plug. Thanks.

i believe one of them was for the spoiler and the other was for the third brake light. All of the lancers have em if i remember correctly. Just that if you have a spoiler on they connect one of them and if you don't then they connect the other when they put the third brake light in.

I DO have a spoiler, and the brake light works on it.

The white plug is for the lamp, the black one is for the spoiler light. but it seems to have changed with different model years

I actually have 3 plugs. One is already plugged into the trunk lamp, and my car is not using the remaining 2 plugs for anything...not even the spoiler light....and my spoiler light is working. This isn't an urgent matter...I was just curious as to what these plugs are used for...maybe I can use them for something.
