Unhappy regarding eibach spring install

well when i first got my eibachs, i installed them myself......one problem...like the directions said on the forum..i didnt line up the holes on the perches correctly...resulting in a rattling noise coming from the front two struts.....

newayz..i got it fixed today...lined it up properly...but another problem im faced wit....one of the three nuts that holds the strut spring combo together to the car got stripped...so only 2 nuts r holdin the struts to the car.....

went to the mitsu dealer lookin for the nut....easy as that rite?...NOPE....they dont sell the nuts individually....i would have to buy the whole beiring plate...which in the package includes them damn nuts.....i just need the nut~!!!! they said 50 bucks for it.....ne ideas neone on how to get just one nut???

Have you taken the plate out to see what they look like?

Something similar happened to SmoktOut, but he replaced his with Tein camber plates to match his coilovers.

EDIT: Putting this one in troubleshooting since well...that's what we're tryin' to do for ya.

Have you tried removing the nut itself and taking it to the hardware store like you were saying before? It sounds like it's worth a shot to me if it's removable. I'd probably get extras too just in case. If they strip that easily there's not telling what the future could bring.
