OMG!!!! Just go purchase two spark plug buffers and install them in the rear 02 hole and screwthe o2 back in. Its a code do to to high of exhaust flow. You need to bring the flow to the sensor down. The buffers are like 7 for both and look like two nuts. Must exhaust shops will have them too but will call them o2 bungs. I have a turbo kit on my car with no cats, straight downpipe to test pipe to exhaust.

if you wired that afr gauge into your o2 sensor, then you will get a CEL. those wires are very sensitive. i had wired my wideband controller into it, and got CEL, then removed it because i figured i didnt need to read narrowband, and then it went off. so if it is wired into your o2 sensor, that is about the only option.

I have the road Race gapper already installed but still have the cel i had my header on since the summer and i remeber when the light came on after a couple of days running the header it was running like crazy and i went through a pretty decent size puddle then boom i got hit with the cel. I think i either damaged my second o2 sensor or there is something else wrong with my car. And the guy at autozone is a tard and couldn't check the damn light. Saying i have a blown fuse. This is how dumb he was he gets into my car and comments on my sweet sirius reciever that i had pluged into the ceg and he turns and ask me if my ceg fuse is blown and thats way the code puller wasn't working.

would it really hurt to try it? at this point, you might as well give it a go.

well, check the plug under the passenger seat. all of a sudden my cel would come on almost instantly. it turned out for some reason the plug under the passenger seat was unplugged.

i think you need to check your codes... seems like it's on for something else. You may be changing parts that don't need to be changed.

fuse doesn't have anything to do with reading the codes. He's a dumbass... go when someone different is working or try somewhere else.

OK i know why the guy at autozone had some problems puuling my code it would of help if he started my car. So i went and purchased a Code Reader Online for like $50 once it comes in i will see what the hell is wrong. Plus i'm installing the 2nd o2 sensor maybe tomorrow or sunday and hopefully i won't need the code reader when it comes in. I'm thinking the 2nd o2 sensor is bad and i have the Warm Up cat or Missing cat code but because the 2nd o2 sensor is bad the Road Race Gapper i bought didn't work because it can't send the front o2 sensor a reading.

that's what the PCM reflash was for. the 2nd sensor was burning out. take it to mitsu and have them cover it under warranty. just beware of the possible havoc it may cause on your vehicle like mine.

also, what was mentioned earlier about a pre-cat whatever it's called that sends a flat signal....that doesn't work after the recall.

Ok i got some updates i got to install the new 2nd 02 sensor will i get uder the car unscrew the old o2 sensor and the plug just falls out the damn thing was never pluged in or came unpluged some how. Ok well i installed the new o2 make sure everything is plug in. I start the car and still have a CEL i didn't reset the ecu becuase i didn't have time to sit there and let it relearn i was in a rush. I still have the CEL and i'm still stomped when i get home from work tomorrow i will discount the negative side of the battery. And will see what happens if it comes back on i have my code reader in the mail on it's way.
