xshieldsx....i'm still in love with your avatar

the lumpy idle might have to do with the recall. the lumpy idle could also be do to an o2 sesnor on it's way out (you'd notice it all the time though. not just at idle). so long as you didn't tamper with the IM, TB, idle speed adjustments, throttle positioning sensor....etc you could narrow it down to warm up cat, sensor, ecu getting excited, bad plugs/coils...it could be many things. that ought to get you started though....oh yeah, in my opinion, you should take out the anti-fowlers until you get the problem solved. that way you have one less thing to possibly contribute to the problem.

pretty much the CEL eliminators...for some reason i thought the one post by xshieldsx was by you (talking about the spark plug things as a CEL fix) i would try to get the problem worked out before putting them in. just go to autozone again and see if you can pull any new codes and work from there.

btw, the summary on the invoice about a fan controller --> that was another recall from earlier in the year. take it back (if you haven't already) and get the PCM reflash done. if they say the code you have is not related to the recall --> ask them what code it is pulling. bring the codes back to us and we'll sort things out. the service manager @ freehold mitsu, NJ did this with me when i had a CEL after the recall.
