With a slightly adjusted throttle cable (or whatever the proper name is) my car idles just over 1k and it has also seriously diminished jerkiness in second gear.

2 month review

Still going well.

My gear box has smoothed up significantly. I never had the 2nd gear problems other people had. 3rd for me is a little grindy but I think it's because I missed it while racing this camaro from a light the other day.


Everything else is wonderful

i got ym problem solved it dont grind anymroe
i had brough it in cause the car had really failed on me im talkin clutch blew up on me
i brought it in the throw out bearing melted looks like someone put it throuw a potato shredder and the clutch was gone
thats what was makin the knocking sound a long time ago when i first bought the car but mitshu didnt listen to me
so i got stuck payin 800 bucks for there mistake

Warranty...what's that? Only kidding, but mine was gone in about 17 months... 58,000 miles and counting...

I'm not going to curse myself so i won't say aloud I haven't had any problems...

wow, this thread rose from the dead. my lancer hasnt had any problems accept that it doesnt go 0-60 in 5 seconds....i think my motor is bad or something.

I find that 3rd geasr grinds a lot. It doens't fully engage or something. other than that though, runs great.

when i turn my car on i get a huge sqealing sound..... loose timing belt?????? anyone know??

when i drive off it squeals louder.... then it stops after a few seconds. it happens when i turn on the A/C too.

id say so. but im really suprised, seeing as how i drive it extremely hard all the time. oh yeah, i just remembered a noise mine makes.....the exhaust bumps the swaybar every now and then........

I'm pretty sure your squaling noise would not be the timing belt, or you'd have a million other issues. most likely you just need to tighten up the fan belts or get new ones, which
is easy and cheap.
