I got 99 problems...

And low power ain't one! ok, all kidding aside.

Problem:
1. Unsteady idle(goes to 1500, then back to 500, then stalls)
2. motor will not stay on, randomly stops

Indicators:
1. A/F is good
2. EGT is 800 after 10 min of driving
3. engine temp stays around 160-180
4. Check engine light on(misfire code)

I have tried the following:
1. Disconnecting neg side to reset ecu
2. removed spark plug boots to check for arcing, none found
3. opened a beer, relized its 8:35pm in utah, and nothing is open
4. Checked all vaccum lines, maf sensor wiring
5. Threw beer bottle away

Things i will do tommarow:
1. pull plugs to check for stamping(shorting on the electrode itself)

Ive searched around for the solution to the problem. Found some darn good write ups too, which is all the stuff in the "things i have tried section"

Mods : Various guages, safc-II, RRM turbo kit(intercooled) , RRM headers, motor has about 35k on it (second motor in this car

Any input would be great, at this point, its gotta be a spark plug problem or a fuel filter problem. <--- thats what im thinking. Have a wonderful day, and thanks in advance for any inputs

Why do you think it's the fuel filter problem?

What's weird is that your air fuel ratio is good. Engine stops whenever it wants to. Misfire.
Ignition problems, possibly timing?

Maybe the throttle body needs to be cleaned out?

can you be more specific on the misfire code? random miss, misfire cylinder4, etc...if the car is misfiring there is a load more you can check yourself. otherwise, check SAFC connections like walkingchoas said. read the sticky on misfire under engine tech. my first geuss is your plugs though. i doubt its the fuel filter. start at the plugs and go from there.

can't pull the plugs until tommarow. The safc is hooked up properly, ive been rolling with it for a year and a half

I used the "misfire" sticky to guide myself thus far. I'll check the plugs tommarow though

try unplugging the electrical connection for your mass air flow sensor if it runs like "normal" then you had the same thing i had and it is that the little sensor inside the maf is broke off. which inturn means check engine would come on, and car would die after starting.
and all i have done to my car is short ram intake and exhaust.

I hate to be the downer, but I'm going to guess rings or a piston are going. It could be much simpler though. I'm probably wrong, but when in doubt I like to guess worst case scenarios.

It doesn't take long. Again, worst case scenario.

do a compression test with the adding the oil and checking it again stuff, id say plugs but you would probably have problems starting the car, maybe head gasket idk?
