has any one put breaters on their lancer OZ. Because i have and well yesterday my car started shuting off. i mean that when i drive the engien just dies on me and i would have to start it up again. but i have had the breaters for sometime now. so i am woundering if any one got ant ideas of whats wrong.

the air breather u mean?? i have one and i don thave any probs with it....

 

is your mas pluged in and hooked up right way?

 

here's a thought, remove your breather and reconnect the return hose and see if this clears up the problem. check the mas as well cuz this will cause the engine to shut off at will and run really crappy to boot. pending this, take it into the dealership you have a 5 year warranty on the engine!!

hey hey hey, be nice, not everyone is an expert. I am trying to learn about this new tech as well as this guy, no need to make fun of him for it... except maybe his spelling... but be nice!

 

i had a breather for a while but i took it off. make sure you plug the hole where the hose is supposed to go into the intake. hopefully nothing got sucked up in there.
