i have a 2005 lancer and both the lights in my ashtray and lighter-ring light went out and i have no clue how to change them. i tryed to just pull the ash-tray bulb out but that will not come out, as for the lighter light i have no idea lol. anyway can someone please help me out and tell me how to change these bulbs. I checked all the manuals and there nothing about changeing these bulbs.
Could someone please tell me how to change these bulbs??

check ur fuse first

if it really is the light bulbs' prob, well.... you have to remove the whole center console to change the bulbs... both bulbs have to be taken out from the inside. look for the instruction to take off center console in the "how to" forum.

 

mine did the same...go to the arm rest in between the front seats and removhe 2 screws inside of it. Then pull it up and out and remove the 2 screws holding the shifter console, then pull that up...u should see the bulbs underneath it...
