A/C Problem

Those of you with OZ's, do you have any problems with your a/c? Because when i start my car it could take awile for the cold air to start working. Sometimes it starts good right away, then later on it goes back to blowing just air. It started after i put my head unit in. So it might be possible that some wires are touching around the back of the head unit. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. But also before my warrenty went out i told them to check it and they said there wasent a problem. But of course it doesent act up when they checked it out. So i dont know.

re-check all your wiring and make sure you aren't touching anything tha'ts not suppose to be touched. Then, try doing things again... if you start having problems it could mean your A/C could need a recharging. Usually it'll take a min before you feel a good blast of cold air..

Mine does the same thing, it always starts cold, then it will get almost warm, then goes back to being cold, it will do this with 5 to 10 minutes intervals

go to autozone. they sell a thing-a-ma-jig so you can charge it yourself. it's pretty cheap.

The AC will cycle like that if it needs a charge. If its borderline the clutch on the compressor will come on and off and thats why it goes cold to just air.
