engine

I was at autozone and was looking at a thing called a breader I think it goes where the hose conncects to the air fill would the breather up horse power and would it void warrenty

It's just for looks. Your better off leaving the hose with that intake.

Its called a breather, not breader.

It wont up your horsepower. The only time i would use it is if the breather line from the intake was not available (turbo setups. some intakes).

And it will only void the warranty if it is found that the breather caused the problem, as with ANY modification.

EDIT: That looks strangely like Hobies engine compartment....hmmm

yeah it is you can tell from the multi colourd blue's and his radiator mounts. lollol his *** his car him just can't seem to get rid of him he is in every post.

A breather filter is not going to up the horsepower or void your waranty. Yes turbo cars do have the hose. The only thing with a breather is that with out a catch can it will gunk up your engine bay with oil. The purpse for this is to vent the excess pressure.....and so on.

Ah, my horribly mismatched engine bay. I'll make it pretty this spring, I promise.

Yeah, the breather is an automatic failure for inspection in several states just FYI.
