Sill having notchey 1-2 shifts

O.K. heres the story, I have an 03 OZ 5speed with 6000mi on the clock I have had notchy 1-2 shifts since about 500 miles I have had it in twice and they "can't replicate it" the problem has goten more frequent and now happens once or twice a day. I got a B&M short throw about a month ago and it went away for a couple of days and then came back. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I have an appointment next week and I'd like to have a better idea what to tell them. Should I reinstall my stock shifter befor the appointment? thanks in advance

Mine used to be notchy but I havent felt it in a long time. I got 12,000 on mine now. I think it eventually wears down to normal. Just wait another 6,000 should be good.
