scratch removers?
hey so I just got back from wal mart and I picked up one of those "scratch fixer pens" for my
Thunder Gray Metallic Clearcoat A02 03 lancer es. They didint have the exact one so I kinda looked and guessed.. and i guessed wrong.
anyways, i was wondering if there are things like these that match this color? and if so where could i get them? its just a few mini scratches on the hood and the back bumper I dont want to go buy a whole can of paint just for that. anyone?

had the same problem. If there is a place to get the exact color matching pen, I'd love to know about it. But a quick fix for now that i did was use a pen that was as close to my color (GG) as possible, then went over it the next day with some rubbing compound very carefully, as is.. you have to be Sherlock Holms to find the scratch... but I know it's there. So if I can find the EXACT color, I'll be picking it up.

Did the scratch hit the metal?
If not, you can get some 2000gritt WetOrDry 3m paper nearly anywhere. Get a small cup/bucket with water and 1 drop of dawn. Sand lightly. Buff. Polish. Wax.
Also, depending on how babied/garaged the car might be, the paint could be faded. So an "exact" match is almost never going to happen.
