Ive had my 2003 5 speed oz for exactly a year now. Just recently I think the clutch has started to go out. Sometimes when I shift, it acts like the clutch is still engaged for a second or two because once I start to accelerate in the new gear the rpms jump up a little and I can tell that it isnt in gear yet. I notice it more when I'm really pushin it and shifting faster than usual, but its done it to me other times too.
so im guessing i need a new clutch?

Could just be the way you shift. To see whether your clutch is going put the car in fifth and slam the gas, if the revs shoot up, your clutch is shot.
