SAFC tach and tach on my car are exactly the same. Driving in the rain my car bogs down too and runs like crap. I think it is just wet air. Water in the intake is going to take a tsunami over the front of the car or a 3ft deep pond and you hit it doing a 100 with the pedal on the floor and continued to accelerate.
