i have an 2005 lancer glx same spec. as the es except da engine is 1.6 , it has 57000 km on it , i have some problems in the front suspension so i will gonna buy new shocks , springs mostly everything in the strut , on the other hand my steering wheel is`t stable anymore it always goes left and right as the road wish , one of my friends told me that i need a new Rack end + Tie rod end , is thats right?? or do i need other stuff as i am already paying alot...

Perhaps i'm misunderstanding what you're saying here, but if your front suspension is shot, then that would be a pretty good reason why the steering wheel is unstable. If your shocks are gone, the wheels won't be making proper contact with the ground after bumps, so the steering will behave accordingly.

Why not go in for an alignment and see if they fix it, or tell you...ah, these things are broken and need to be replaced.

thanx for your help , and my aim was to ensure that replacing front suspension plus rack and tie rod end are the main problem...
