Bulb frying my harness?

I have some aftermarket bulbs. They are eurolite hyperwhite bulbs. It fried my stock plugin so I bought another one from an auto parts store, hooked it up, and guess what, it fried that one too. It only does that on the passenger side. the light still lights up a little but its very weak. the drivers side is fine and havent had problems with it. anyone know what it could be? here are some pics of it. any help is appreciated

here is the plug in harness.

what is the watt? You might want to get a thicker wiring harness.

wattage.... anything higher then 65 watts will fry mitsubishi's crap harness. If you are running both high and low beams at the same time it will also fry the harness. best suggestion, make your own harness with about 2 feet of 12g wire, and the ground attached to a ground, not the harness ground.

Also, it looks like your frying the ground connecter in the harness.... use thicker gauge wire on that terminal and use a chassis ground as close as you can to the bulb.

I use Eurolite Xexon bulbs in everything, minus the headlights...those are Sylvania Silverstars. I've used the "trick" to light both the low and high beams and never had a problem. Maybe time for different bulbs instead of trying to get them to work???

Hm i'll try to either get a thicker wire or just say F it and replace that harness and put my stock lights in. I also do not run both High and Low beams at the same time, as far as i know.

FYI, you pull the left accessory arm and hold it to use both the high and low beams. JDM light switch pull FTW! LOL

You could always hook up a relay to the headlight harness and use that to power your bulbs. Using spade terminals to connect to the bulb itself...
