a/c off car stalls
I have a completely stock 2002 OZ and today the a/c stopped working. So I was sitting in the driveway playing with it when something strange happened. When I turn the a/c off the car won’t idle, turn it back on it runs fine. WTF? Any ideas?

A/C makes the car idle a bit higher... clogged air filter maybe? The higher A/C idle may be compensating for the restriction in the air filter. Other than that, your A/C compressor may have just quit on you.. where it is connected to the main pulleys of your car, if it's beginning to seize up, it may be causing extra strain on the other pulleys which may bring the RPMs low enough to stall. By turning the A/C on, maybe whatever is left of the compressors energy is enough to overcome the added strain.
Worth a shot to check those 2 things... beyond that, I dunno.
