well you know how we have two coil packs and that two cylinders share one pack? well last nite after driving, i popped open my hood in the dark and saw that the coil pack on the right was flashing. we put a flashlight on it and the flashing was coming from inside the pack. it only happened on the right pack and not the left pack. broken? fixable without replacing? the car runs damn well still. i figure there's some kind of arcing in the coil pack but was wondering if anybody knew of any fixes. thanks.

 

Its called arcing I dont know if there are any quick fixes aside from checking the connections to the coil pack when the car is off. If you are under warranty just take it to the dealer to have them replace the pack. Dont know how much they are but I had 6 on my tt Z and they were 80 a pop! Thankfully I had to replace only one.
