exhuast sound

i bought my exhaust system about 2 months ago from ebay the muffler tech one with the obx muffle b5 or whatever. the only problem i have is that it sounds like crap. always buzzes like after 3rpms when tryin to acclerate really quickly. im running staright pipes through my whole setup. the kamikaze header and the test pipe and then the full cat back. i was just wondering if its because i have little back pressure and thats whats causing it. someone told me that this could be it. someone also told me i should just a high flow cat back. i have no idea what that is. can someone tell me. also i will also be doin forced induction soon soo what should i do. all the pipping size is 2.25. i was thinking that the muffler is just causing this sound and if it is can anyone tell me what a good rear axle back exuahst is. thanks to all who answers.

Maybe?

ROAD///RACE LANCER EXHAUST

This exhaust uses a high-flow Magnaflow Race Series muffler. Muffler is stainless steel as is dual wall tip 3.5 inch tip. This is not a cat-back system but it will fit with Road Race cat-back section which is soon to follow. Exhaust piping is increased to 2.25 inches to increase volume of gas without losing velocity of exiting gases. Complete bolt on, no welding required.

maybe it is the muffler, i have an apex N1 w/ custom piping and it makes that high pitch sound at high rpms.

Well the test pipe makes a louder sound, it could also be muffler, If you have time, take the test pipe out and see if it is that, if not, get yourself a new muffler.

I had the same bothersome noise when I had straight piping (resonator still in) from the exhaust manifold back. I eliminated it by putting my 2nd cat back in, but I'm gonna go w/ 2.5" catback piping (going turbo later also) and hope that the extra width brings the depth of sound back.
