Weird smell.

Well there are strange noise, rattle, and squeak complaint sections but no strange smell section!! Lol.

Anyways, I go out to change my oil and start up my car to let it warm up(doesn't take much with out 100+ temps) and I start smelling something weird. The only way I can describe it is sour kraut mixed with a tiny bit of burnt rubber. It seemed to be coming from the header or that general area. I checked the header but there didnt seem to be anything on it that would cause that. Anyone know if this is something I should worry about or not?

Well a while back I was reading on another board about a dude with an RSX. He was driving one day and all of a sudden he heard a POP under his hood. He didn't know what was going on so he pulls off thinking he busted a belt or something like that. When he opened his hood he had a pretty scary surprise. His engine bay had blood all over. Turns out a snake crawled up in there over night and got caught in a belt. If i recall he had no damage from that but I bet it smelled unpleasant.

Anyways I went and checked out my car again and I didn't find anything and we had a thunderstorm tonight and the smell seems to be gone. Probably just rat **** or a big juicy bug was frying on top of my exhaust somewhere.
