Hi all,

I've been noticing a recurring problem with the sound system on my GTS (I have the Sun and Sound package). Every time I'm accelerate, my mid-to-highs seems to cut out and the sound gets really muddy and muffled. As the car gets up to speed, the sound returns to normal. This also never happens when I'm just idling. Is the wiring screwy, or is it just bad radio reception? I have not noticed it on a CD yet, but I'll pay more attention next time.

I just got the car back from the dealer; I don't want to send it back again!

 

i got this problem too! seems like the settings just goes to +0 when i mve off but when i stop at a junction, the sound comes back. it only happen when i switch on my radio.

 

This radio has tons of problems and this is one of them. The last I heard, mitsu knows about the problem and is working on it. Go to your dealer and let them know so at least they are aware.

 

Mine don't do this, but they are staticy for certain parts. And it's not like I blast the radio...at the most, I put it at 30.
