When I turn the key to ACC, the oil light on the INFO display comes on for a few seconds then goes off (it does not come on while driving or when the engine is turning). I used a K&N HP-1010 oil filter and Mobil 1 5W-20 full synthetic for the change. The oil level is perfect according to the dipstick.

Did I miss something with the oil change? Or has the oil indicator always come on and I just never paid attention before now? Bad sending unit perhaps?

I put the RRM pulley on a while ago and now I'm paranoid that it has screwed up clearances somewhere...

 

This is normal. It is called a bulb check. You might notice that your check engine light and your abs light as well as others come on. This is a normal thing that your car does on start up
