Question Help a brotha out!

I'm not sure if I'm having the same problem, but I have a stock 2002 auto oz w/approx 17,000 miles and right as my transmission is about to change from it's 2nd to 3rd speed it jerks back and forth. It feels like I'm punching the gas, then braking, then punching the gas again. Sorry to butt in with my problem, but it sucks. Any suggestions?

Disconnect the battery and let the ECU reset. Should fix the problem.

I'll give it a try, dumb question though (this isnt my area of expertise) disconnect + and -? And does the order matter?
Ask me anything about "Bose Home Audio" or how to be a good Filipino and I'm your man.

I am guessing this is an automatic?
Try putting the car in drive, step on the brake with your right foot and hit the gass with your left, you know powerbrake it.
If it does the same thing then you probably have a misfire, maybe bad spark plug. Try it and let me know.

Try it with your feet the opposite way timz said or you're gonna be sitting cross legged or lying belly down on the seat.

It sounds like you have a problem with your transmission and need to take it in to the dealer ship.
