OBDII & PC Access ['02 & '03 ES LS OZ]
Hey all, soon I will be hooking up my car computer to the OBDII for a whole wealth of information and possibly a few realtime guages to display on my LCD panel.
Anyways I have yet to figure out the communication protocol that Mitsubishi uses for access weather its one of these three or a new one they seemingly came up with... I have researched all over the net and called a few service departments, as well as a few other sources and have found noone that knows the protocol used.
I will be using Slackware Linux 9 as my OS and will try out the program freediag which is located at http://sourceforge.net/projects/freediag/.
If anyone else has done this on a laptop or a PDA can you list out the program you are using for access? Yes this applies to you EVO owners as well : )
The following image shows the pinout configuration of what the port should look like, hopefully this information is correct and I'll be up and running soon.

I never could get Slack to work right, always went back to Mandrake.
I'm interested in how this pans out. Just watch that XBOX. I know mine with Xecuter2lite draws too much current for a 150w inverter.
