Question Clutch not disengaging?

Sometimes when I want to start the engine, it cranks but it doesn't start. And I have pressed the clutch completely. After I release and press the clutch a couple of times and try again, it starts. Why is this happening and is it normal?
Thanks

Something wrong with the clutch pedal sensor probably. Warranty work...

You may want to go into the "Official TSB on 2008 Lancer's no-start problem" thread. You may just be one of us.

And, I suggest you try to give a little gas when cranking.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to depress the clutch.
Just wait a few secondes and start again it should work.

if your car cranks, then its not the clutch pedal sensor. If it doesn't start that can be one or both of two things. No spark or no fuel! Bottom line. Some have been having this no start issue. Check up on that thread for info.
