Unstable voltage!!!! help

Well i don't know what it is... some people say it's my alternator and some people say somethings is shorted... well i a 2003 lancer oz turbo... i have a volt gauge from autometer ultra lite II.. when i step on he gas and just rev and let go.. i see he voltage drop down to about 12/13 volts...then back to 14volts... i can also hear my Walbro fuel pump wind down and back up to norm as well... anyone wih any idea?

that sounds normal to me. someone told me as long it doesnt drop below 12.

So the voltage drops AFTER you let go of the gas? as in decel'ing to idle? That sounds normal to me.

What happens when you do the above while let's say, putting the window down, turning your lights on, etc? Add more load to the circuit and see what the meter reads.
