Noobie! And I have a question about the Lancer...

Hey guys, I'm new here, although I'cve been lurking around for a couple of weeks now. I bought a Lancer DE back in October. 5 speed, AC/ABS package, Silver, keyless entry/alarm. Anywho, I just have a question.

My car had the stalling problem. I'm in Canada, and our winter was a little rough, and it stalled every single day of one week in January, So naturally I brought it to the dealer. They said "that's the way it's supposed to be" and then they told me that it's doing that because I park it in 2nd gear instead of 1st. I mean, what the ****? So anyways, they charged me 75 bucks to look at it and didn't do anything. Now after visiting the forums here I know that there is a known issue with the stalling. I contacted the dealer, and they told me to leave them alone, and that it would cost 500 bucks to fix the stalling. Also, the outside seal on my rear roll-down passanger side window (my car isn't tinted by the way... yet) fell of a week after I got the car (more like hanging off). I brought it to the dealer and they charged me 300 bucks to fix it. I *****ed so much to their head office that they reimbursed me the money but they really don't like me, even though I've only been there 3 times! So anyways, my question is this: does anybody else have as much trouble dealing with these idiots as me?? I love my Lancer, I think it's great, but the guys at the dealer are very unhelpufl. Just like some opinions!

You have a really bad dealership. Unfortunately, there's no way to FORCE them to treat you well. Try to visit a different dealership if there's one nearby.
