I have a 03 lancer es turbo automatic and i was wondering if anybody has any advice on fuel pumps. I have a walbro 255 and for some reason it makes a loud noise when i start the car, put it in park, or when the turbo timer is counting down. I think the fuel pump is going out but not sure. Need help!

 

The 255s are generally louder than stock, but maybe you can better describe the sound? What is your fuel pressure look like?

 

its like a winding sound but really loud. i think on the gauge the fuel pressure is at 40 but im not sure. i will check tomorrow.
