FED or PEZ?

I'm confused...i bought the my car thinking that it was a fed spec because i lived in new york, but looking at the sticker under the hood it says that "this vehicle complies with the emission standards of california... and is able to be sold in california"

does that mean it has an extra cat or do all lancers say that?

Yeah, salesmen usually don't know much. I remember when I bought my car and was going for a test drive, he told me that the car was a 6spd and it had 152 hp. I already knew everything about the car so luckily I didn't go into "6th Gear" or reverse haha.
