Just wondering if anyone has issues with their built in bluetooth.
When I program my phone (Sony Ericsson K790) to the car the connection would only last for 1week until the system is unable to find the phone. Just this week it seems to be happening daily.
I'm not too sure if this is an issue with my phone or with the cars system. My saved address book in the car stays in tact though.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

I had this same problem too. It would totally **** me off. My phone (Samsung A940) was about 3 years old and had the BT 1.0 spec. I got rid of that phone about 3 months ago and my new phone (HTC Mogul) has the BT 2.0 spec which works perfectly.
I've had my Samsung A900 get lost in my hands free system a couple of times. Both times it seemed to be associated with a could not start issue, and both times I couldn't get the car started, I was repeatedly trying to start the car before the "precheck" clicks finished, and not switching the ignition completely to off before trying again.
However, since my last 'no start' I've learned a little patience with starting the car, and haven't had a problem since. It's a little something that gives the car "character", IMO

I just lost both of my phones too (My Fiancée and Mine); looks like this could be a common problem. I'll see how being a little more patient and letting the car do all its checks works. My phone is a LG VX8800. Not sure exactly when it stopped working but I’ll keep an eye out if it does it again.
Does your phone have the auto detect and connect for the bluetooth? I know when I first connected my BB Pearl I didn't set the auto accept, so the car would just ping my phone and never connect. I also turn the bluetooth on and off every once in a while on my phone to reinitialize all of its settings. Seems to help a lot more, I havn't had problems connecting for a while now.

hey guys i have no problem connecting the phone but when itry to dial it says phonebook not found....but the first time I tried it ask me for the number to dial now it doesn't anymore am I doing someting wrong?
I have an LG-8100, my bluetooth works perfect for a while, then i'll be driving and my phone will ring but the bluetooth suddenly doesnt come on. So ill have to go in the phone and reconnect it and then go through the pairing options again in the car. Ive had to do it about 5 times now its getting quite annoying. But when it works, its works great!
I've only had mine go out once. It was easy to fix, but none-the-less annoying.
I'm having another issue with my bluetooth though. When dialing phone numbers through the bluetooth I get a really annoying echo of myself talking on top of the other persons voice, but if I dial a number from my phone itself or someone calls me, then the echo is gone.
Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know of a fix?

I don't think this is a problem with your bluetooth. I've had this happen just talking with my cell phone, and my desk phone at work. A lot of times its cuz the person your talking to has speakerphone activated and the phone isn't setup to filter the microphone, so it backfeeds into the system.
It pretty much does it every time I dial a number regardless of the number I call. It's one of those things that I can re-create every time I try to.
And again it only happens when dialing through the bluetooth itself. If I dial a number on my phone or if someone calls me, I don't get any echo.
