2011 Lancer Bluetooth System stopped working
Hi, I just bought a 2011 Lancer ES - used. While test driving the car I played around with the Bluetooth system including it's calling features and the Bluetooth Audio functionality. It was working great, I picked up the car last night and used the bluetooth functionality again. Loved it. This morning I made a quick trip, had bluetooth audio working, made one phone call and the next time I got in my car, nothing worked.
Pressing the call button (which would normally give you setup options) does nothing. Cycling through the Mode button to go from Radio, CD, BT Audio, USB, etc. only gives me Radio and CD options now.
Weird thing is, the device still showed that it was connected to the Bluetooth system. In my trouble-shooting I've since removed the car BT system from my iPhone, which now means that until I can get back into the setup options I can't re-pair my phone. I also confirmed that the USB port in the glove box still is able to power my iPhone.
I have an iPhone 4 with iOS6.
Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to correct this? I called the FUSE support number and they told me I'd have to take it to a dealership to get them to fix it - but I don't really have much confidence in my local dealership here because when I called them about the issue they told me to call the same support number I had already called.
Would really appreciate some help!
Thanks!

it could be anything. Unless you have all the tools and literature that the dealership does, then you are just guessing. You need electrical schematics, a multimeter and possible breakout harness'. You will need to test for power and ground to the controls/module. I think you may need to take it to the dealership.

Thanks - took it to the dealership and after 4 hours of running diagnostics on the car... they finally realized the problem was... wait for it... a plug had come loose.
They plugged everything in nice and tight and order has been restored. Why it took them 4 hours to do this, I have no idea, but I'm happy it's working again

Just because you have similar symptoms does not mean you have a loose plug. Loose plugs are rarely a problem, unless someone has been in the dash and forgot to plug it in. More than likely you have a failed module/switch/wiring.
