My manual transmission gear box is really no smooth operator, a lot of times I feel the hesitation and hear the noise while switching gears, especially from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd – anybody else experiencing the same?

 

Manual transmissions sound more like race car transmissions and they aren't always very smooth sounding like automatics. My Evo is completely opposite of smooth, but I can still understand your concern. There could always be a possibility that something is wrong and not performing properly. Mitsubishi advertises their warranty so much, so I would test them and see if they can fix the problem. Many times Mitsubishi dealers will say nothing is wrong, but if to you there really is a problem...I would make sure they solve it or help you solve it. All the best!
