Question can punctured radiator be fixed???

hey guys
i kinda jacked my radiator
it has 3 tiny leaks from from bumping it
with my turbo installation
can radiators be repaired?

yeah but you have to be carefull I repaired mine with a two part epoxy from pep boys for metals and the hole was about 1/2 inch wide b/c my wife wrecked my other car and the radiator hit the engine. that was about 5k miles and 4 months ago. Racing and all.

why risk a melt down if your rad breaks the adhesive down the road.

measure your rad. look at ebay. see if the piping lines up and dimension wise. look at the DSM racing rads or stockers. I already know the 3k gt rad piping is all wrong to a dsm.

Depends where you broke it the aluminum fins dont take to repairs very well. the plastic tanks can be fixed. but usually we toss them and get a new one if they leak at all.

If you have bent fins.. easy fix... goto a local radiator shop... they can fix it no problem... but the price is a little high... i put a fan thru my radiator and they wanted more than a new one.. so be weary and gl

I make radiators...trust me buy a new one. If u fix it it gona **** up cause the fins have to b solid an straight

took it to a radiator shop down the street they did aluminum weld right where the leaks were and it works just great now and costed 40 bucks. thanks for everyones help
