It could also be your springs expanding/contracting (are you backing out of an inclined driveway?) as well as some flash rust on your rotors.

Could be that you need power steering fluid. Or your power steering pump is going bad..but i don't think so since your car is pretty new. My audi started doing it and it did it while turning and you can hear it whine.

noticed something weird today, I was moving my car forward into my grass so i can cut the front lawn. Driveway is flat but the grass has a enough incline to let the car roll. Anyways I was letting the car roll forward after pushing it a tad and using the E-brake ever so slightly to keep slow down and stop since i didn't want to get fully into the car. Well long story short it made a grinding sound as if my brake pads had worn down and the metal thing was rubbing my rotor. Which is weird cause my brake pads have plenty of life in them.

well if you knew something about these vehicles and most others. That would indicate you/other/or defective matial in the park brake shoe. NOT PAD, shoe. Its inside the read caliper in a little drum. Have a look at that. Outside of the creaking while backing up...take it to a dealer. all you guys just whine whine, really what do you want others to do?? take it to your dealer! god. rant over, please boot me I hate idiots.

Came back from the dealership said that it was the copper grease and dirty which cause the pad from freely moving in and out of the assembly. He serviced the brakes for me and everything seems to be fine now.
