buschur racing downpipe problem

i just installed the buschur racing downpipe, and it is making lots of noise near where it connects to the bottom of the RRM header, its as if it has a leak, but i made sure to use the gasket and it is as tight as i can get it.. has anyone else had this problem?

What size is the rest of your exhaust piping? I've got a 2.5" downpipe dumping into stock piping from the 2nd cat back, and I've got a bit of a leak sound. I figure it's cuz there's some leakage caused by the bigger gasket and downpipe mated with the smaller stock piping.

Remember though to, there is such a thing as to tight with gaskets so don't go applying pressure recklessly or you'll shear the gasket.
