They stop the ficker. Your HID's will come on right when you turn the car on. I just got mine from "02-Lancer-Es". They work awesome. Way better then messing around and trying to rewire everything.

the anti-flicker cable just eliminates the flicker not the drl

I plan on getting these HIDs right here in 55 watt 8000K:

However, would buying this wiring harness eliminate the flickering do you guys think:

all three of my vehicles have DDM kits and only two of them use the battery harness. my 05 colorado uses it and really only needs it for the drls it has, but then again they aren't a wave type voltage drl like the evo. i used the battery harness on my evo because i wanted the lights to come on every time. and they do together flawlessly. unfortunately because of the way the evo's drls are designed they flicker. so im going to try and contact 02-lancer-es to get the drl harness. that way i never have to worry about the lights again. hope that helps

i dont understand why everyone is buying bypasses and spending so much money... the reason why the drl's still work after you pull the fuse is because theres a second source of power. i got rid of the flicker and the drl's by simply installing a switch after the drl relay. i used a regular toggle switch and grounded the switch. i even installed a switch for my fogs so i can turn them on without having to have my low beams switched to the on position. things u can do by just looking at a wiring diagram....
