I just had my windows tinted on my 09 lancer. I dont have this prob now, but when it gets colder i might. Im worried that turning on the rear heating system to defrost the windows might ruin the tinting. Does anyone know for sure?

it wont..ive had my tint for a while now and no problems, even if it does, from what i know most tint shops will fix it for free

 

yeah it wont mine have been done 5% all the way around for about a year no problem with rear defrosters. the tint shop actually told me that it will dry faster if i used them since i couldn't roll my windows down for like 3 days

anyways it wont hurt the tint

 

had it on my last car and new car no problems

What if you have to remove the tint from the rear window will that ruin the defroster?
