My window makes a terrible cracking sound when I move it up or down. If I close the door with the window down, it sounds like the car is about 25 years old. Is the window guide loose? Any remedy for this? None of my other windows do it.

yeah I noticed this too...Thought it was nothing tho...

When I have the window down, or like partial down, when u close the door it soudns like the glass is rattling inside...

 

I got this service 2 weeks ago. I think it was a broke window regulator or something like that. Warranty covered 100%, took about 45 minutes to fix.

I will check with the dealer about this. BTW, what dealer did you get it done through? I've been to 2 of the 3 in the area... I think I am fed up with both of them. I thought the service recall had something to do with the rear door latches opening in a crash??? I am behind on all things Lancer.

Baierl Mitsu in Wexford. I have not had a problem with them. They saw the problem and fixed it under warranty, w/ no BS.
