safc to fix rough idle?

i have a severely rough idel after installing my throttle body. My idle ranges from 500 to 2500 rpms. i adjusted the idle screw up and down fractions of fractions of an inch every 15 minutes for the past 11 days. no luck. the closest balance i could find was .5-2.5. screw in a little, car chokes and stalls; screw out a little, car revs up like nobody's business. all i want to knwo is will the safc fix my idle problem? thx

win

ps: heres a little eye candy for you:

You installed the product incorrectly then. The base idle set screw will only affect the car during start ups, when you decelerate, and when the AC is running. Double check all your connections, make sure there's no vacuum leaks anywhere. You don't have enough mods gulping in air to necessitate leaning the idle out. I was going to see if anyone else has had problems with a TB install and couldn't find any, so much for a referral thread.
