higher temps increase resitance in a conductor, thus lowering the e- flow rate though a grounding cable. but with grouding cable the size that it is, it shouldn't cause that much of a drop in voltage. though it may with the stock groud kit and so many aftermarket goodies. definately sounds like a bad alternator, as your battery is not staying charged while driving, but does not drain while car is off.

by the sound of what pickleknock said, it seems like there is something that is draining your juice, or it could be the bad alternator, but i would double check all your electronics and see what happens, gotta be electrical

I'm leaning towards just plain bad grounds still. Since MOST of my under hood electrical stuff is still there I may just get a hyper ground and the voltage regulator thing too maybe. Depends how this spark plug, wire and vac hose thing turns out. I'm basically going to remove and check all grounds too so hopefully that'll be enough.

Welp, last Saturday I changed my oil and spark plugs. Idle problem is mostly fixed. It pulled the stalling crap once since then and idles much smoother. The plugs had a lot of carbon build up around the washer (towards the thread) and were whitish and slightly discolored near the tips...so basically I was rich and lean. I attribute this to having the same spark plugs that were in during EMS tuning and some dyno tuning a couple months back.

I'm still waiting on my vac hoses, Defi Link gauges and plug wires before I start adding any more variables to the equation. I'm going to try to tune out a few other issues before getting back to idle. Thanks for lending a helpful eye everyone.

The interior of my car is already pretty um...loud. At least I'll have a clean A-Pillar. When I clean the car up it may not look like a hack job anymore (the interior at least).
