Poor Heat - OZ Rally
Poor Heat - OZ Rally
Hello All
I'm not sure if the problem is based on the card getting older (03 Lancer OZ), or maybe its due to winter getting colder.
For the last couple of years, the amount of heat coming from below the dashboard to my feet is almost non existent. Every other car I've been to, my feet feel like they are on fire, but in my lancer, its cold.
Even when all the vents are turned to the feet, the amount of heat cannot be felt. I have to crank the heat all the way to 4 to feel it coming on my face, but no matter how much I send to the feet I get nothing.
Any idea what it could be?

K wait for a sec.
Is the velocity of the air hitting your face getting weaker, or is the temperature of the air getting colder?
How long has it been since you flushed the coolant?
How's the temperature gauge? After a while driving, is the needle in the middle, or is it lower? If the temp gauge shows you lower than normal temperatures, look into a new t-stat. If the temps are normal, look into the coolant. Either flush it if it hasn't been changed forever, or at least make sure the coolant level is right.
